NALCO Ash Pond Menace
It has become routine on the part of NALCO to find alibis for
mismanagement of ash and ash pond. This Navratna company earns more than
1500 crores as profit annually. It pays a hefty annual dividend to govt.
of India. Why can not they earmark 100 crores to resolve this problem?
Because of the lenient approach of the state govt., they have taken it
as their right to keep people in a state of permanent fear. Why the
state govt. and its officials are so considerate towards NALCO?
