Creating a new defination for small and marginal farmers

Dear Editor

In the recently formulated rules for agricutlturaldebt relief the Govt of India has defined that those farmers (no matter whether they are marginal or smallor tenant or group or SHG )who have taken loan more than RS.50000/= for agricultural allied activities like milch cow ,fisheries , poultry farming, bee keeping etc will be treated as big farmers and therefore their loans will not be waived and will be dealt as per the law applicable to big farmers. This is nothing but to mislead the Parliament and its members . And creating a new defination for small and marginal farmers is not only against the law of the land but it tentamounts to stabing those farmers from behind and is a fraud in the day light.
