Further division of Ganjam district.
Dear Sir,
I have gone thru the proposal of honourable M.P. Ms Renubala Pradhan for
further trifurcation of the district of Ganjam.I request the honourable
M.P. to answer me the benefits accrued to several districts carved out
of the erstwhile Ganjam and Koraput districts.Could she study and give
to the public information about per capita income ,literacy rate and
developmental activities in the areas especially of industry and
education in these areas ? What about the productivity per acre under
the agricultural activities ?What about the Law and order situation in
these areas ?While giving information to the public,please let us know
the growth under different developmental parameters as above at the ALL
iNDIA level.I am sure she will be in for big surprises as to the extent
south Orissa remains stagnant all these years especially after creation
of new districts.Creation of districts only increases pressure on the
state's exchequer without any benefits to the poor.South Orissa has been
criminally neglected during the last few decades and leaders like the
honourable M.P.Ms <http://m.p.ms/> Renubala should focus their energy
for improving the lot of the poor instead of asking for more districts
at the cost of developmental activities of the area.
