Dear Editor, I Read the editorial "ODISHA HEBA 'ODISHA'" on "Sampadakiya Tathagata Satapathy". Before this artcle i think the daily news paper Dharitri is Proud of our Odisha but by this article it is proved the news articles are to make political disburshments only to make publishity. it is my independent opinion that if the documentation of ODISHA in officialy Changed to ODISHA what effects to Dharitri.. why not the news paper try to take action for the name of our mother land be pronounced properly by other people. is not it a prior responsibility of an Odiya to call his mother on her proper name, if not then the person is not a proper son of his mother land.. please ignore my grammer.. if i wrote DHARI3 instead of DHARITRI is it admitable. please send me the opinions. with regards,
Er. Sriharsha Tripathy. Any language written and spoken correctly shows the level of education attained by the writer/speaker. Since Oriya does not have a strong 'd' sound, Odia will not be correctly pronounced by people whose primary language is not Oriya. However, we respect your views too. Like Chairman Mao had said--Let a thousand flowers bloom.
